I do not need anything fancy. I prefer a standard steel as I do not how to weld galvenized or aluminium. Thanks for you input, and have a great day!
From a junk (recycled metals) dealer. I suggest you shop around.
YOU have a great nautical day, captain.

Home Depot, probably. Not sure if they carry bulk steel at Wal-Mart.

you will be sorry about the standard steel in a few years you know – best to look for a used trailer in fair condition and refinish it ( time you buy the parts you can’t make you will spend more – add it up first the steel is the cheap part )

Steel is very expensive these days.
Cheapest place would be to go to a scrap yard. You may even find a trailer there you can modify and make good.

The price of steel right now ranks right along with the oil prices. You will pay more in steel and parts, than if you went and bought a new one. Best way to go is to find a junk trailer that needs work for cheap, that way all you have to do is buy the material to repair it. There is really nothing to a trailer, you can refubish it for next to nothing.
