dont know how young or capable you are or what your eventual plans are but have you investigated the used housboat market on the internet? figure out the time to build , temp structure , ,cost of materials etc. been there done that. enjoy before its too late.have you ever perservered through a project like this? i have. dont do it. buy used -less than perfect enjoy now ,upgrade as you go.also it will cost much less. by the time you finish your dreamboat your dream will have changed. i wish you well but theres a reason that very few dreamboats are ever finished.good luck!
